Deanna C. Rule
Deanna C. Rule received her B.A. in Political Economy of Industrial Societies (PEIS) from the University of California, Berkeley and her M.S. in Educational Psychology from University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She obtained her Certificate in College Counseling from the University of California, Los Angeles. As a Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® Certified Practitioner and Strong Interest Inventory ® Certified Practitioner, Deanna has merged her education and publications with her interest in assessment and individual development.
Deanna approaches college counseling with her specialization in assessment. She believes that assessment and feedback through a detailed interpretation will help teens, adults, students, and professionals identify their unique strengths. More specifically, this information will enhance self-reflection and understanding while identifying areas for growth. Her principle goal as a College Counselor at The College Blueprint, LLC is to empower students during the college application process and to motivate them to thrive in a setting that is an overall “best fit”. As a result, she challenges her students to think carefully about their strengths and aspirations, to set realistic and achievable goals, and to reflect on ways they can maximize their strengths.
Deanna has a son at Washington University in St. Louis and a daughter at Santa Margarita Catholic High School. She is a reader for the University of California, Berkeley Alumni Leadership Award and serves as a Philanthropy Liaison for National Charity League, Canyon Chapter. Deanna is also an Associate Member of the prestigious Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA).
